Can fly for hire.

Have a Total Time of 250 hours:

• 100 hours powered ACFT
• 100 hours of PIC time with a minimum of 50 hours in airplanes. 50 hours PIC cross country with 10 of those in airplanes.
• 20 hours of Training
• 10 hours of solo

Once you meet the 135 minimum your job opportunities open up.  Any flight, no matter how short, if taken from one point of departure to a separate point of landing may be counted towards 135 cross country.

135.243(b) VFR

• Commercial Cert 
• 500TT
• 100 hours of  cross country 
• 25 hours of night cross country
• Instrumnet rating

135.243(c) IFR

• Commercial Cert
• 1200TT
• 500 hours cross country
• 100 hours of night
• 75 hours of sim instrument with 50 hours in flight
• Instrument rating

Once you get your commercial pilot license you are on your way to becoming an airline pilot or corporate pilot.
